Differences between versions

This Help file applies to 2 different products: Panda Antivirus 6.0 Home Edition for Windows 95/98/NT WS 4.0 and Panda Antivirus 6.0 Platinum for Windows 95/98/NT WS 4.0.

Depending on the product installed on the userÆs computer, some of the listed features may not apply to the application being used.

In addition, some features of both products apply only to Windows 98 and therefore will only be available for that operating system.

Although both versions of the antivirus are equipped with excellent scanning and disinfection capacity, there is a difference between them as far as the operating mode and configuration possibilities are concerned and the services that ship with the product:

• Panda Antivirus 6.0 Home Edition this version allows you to work with and configure the antivirus in basic mode (but not in advanced mode), which makes it extremely easy to use. This makes it ideal for users with no special needs, who will have not have to worry about having to deal with complex technical configurations.

• Panda Antivirus 6.0 Platinum allows you to configure and work with the antivirus in basic and advanced modes. This enables you to carry out any type of configuration, thereby enhancing the power of the antivirus.
